With the win, New York leads the season series 2-0 over Washington and improves its home record to 8-2, with five consecutive wins on The Garden floor.
The three consecutive victories for the Liberty make for the longest winning streak of the season.
New York's bench outscored Washington's bench 45-10.
Jessica Davenport notched her first basket of the season with 18.9 seconds remaining in the third quarter. She finished the game with four points and two blocks.
The season series between the two clubs will wrap on Wednesday (July 23) in our national's capital. The game will tip-off at 11:30 a.m. at the Verizon Center and will not be televised.
Following tonight's game, New York has four more match-ups until the WNBA holds its Olympic Break and Washington has five more contests.
