
Lexington's Owen Green Earns Player of the Week Honors While Nico Brown Also Features in USL League One Team of the Week

TAMPA, Fla. - Owen Green was named USL League One Player of the Week while Nico Brown also featured in the Team of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
In a 2-1 win, the Club's first, against South Georgia Tormenta FC, Green scored the go-ahead goal in the 71st minute against his former club, marking his first professional goal. On the defensive side of the ball, he recorded one clearance and two interceptions, including a vital save on what would have been Tormenta FC's first goal of the match.
As for Brown, he scored Lexington's first ever home goal in the 15th minute, marking the squad's second goal in the first 15 minutes, putting the club first in the league in the category. He recorded two shots on target and blocked a shot, as well.
With the first win in the books Lexington SC will look to build from the result with its third consecutive home match, this time against Greenville Triumph SC, on Saturday, April 22, from Toyota Stadium.
