Lew Thomas to Return to the Renegades

ROME, Ga. - The Rome Renegades have re-signed RB/DB Lew Thomas for the 2006 American Indoor Football League season. Thomas finished the 2005 season with 36 tackles and eight interceptions with two of those being returned for touchdowns, three of those interceptions came against Daytona Beach in the regular season finale. Thomas attended Vanderbilt University where in 2001 was named to the All-SEC second team and team MVP as a running back. Thomas is originally from Atlanta, GA.

So far the Renegades have signed five players for the 2006 season. Courtney Stanley, Gerald Gales and Thomas return from last year, while Reggie Poole and John Bowman will join the team.
