
Leveille Named Sons of Hockey Star of the Week

Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Port Huron Prowlers forward Chris Leveille has been selected as the Sons of Hockey Star of the Week for the period ending Jan. 31, 2016.
Leveille had a very productive weekend starting on Thursday night against the Berlin River Drivers where he notched four goals in a 8-3 win. Chris follwed up that performance with two more goals on Friday night in a win against Danbury and Saturday night in Dayton. Finishing off the weekend with a goal on Sunday versus Dayton at home, Leveille totaled nine goals, two assists and a +7 rating for the weekend.
A 28-year-old Guelph, Ontario native, is in his sixth professional season. Currently sitting 7th in FHL scoring, Leveille has 20 goals, 22Â assists for 42 points and a plus/minus of +24.
Leveille is the fourth Prowlers player to earn weekly honors behind Mark Rivera (Dec 13), Ahmed Mahfouz (Dec 6), and Jared Hicks (Nov 15).
