Wichita Stealth News Release
Wichita, Kan. - On Saturday night, the Wichita Stealth and operator David Key started an all new promotion for the 2003 season. The Stealth will give away a brand new car each and every home game throughout the season. The first winner of the year was Leroy Roseberry.
Leroy has been a Stealth season ticket holder since 2002 and a fan of arena football for years. On Saturday night, he had given his tickets to a friend and he purchased three more tickets right behind his season tickets. As it turned out, that purchase won him a brand new car, courtesy of the Wichita Stealth and David Key.
The announcement came at the end of the third quarter in front of 5,605 screaming Stealth fans. "I was a little shocked when the announcement was made," said Roseberry. "But after it sunk in, then came the excitement. My wife still didn't believe me until she saw the congratulations letter for herself."
Leroy won a 2003 Hyundai Accent. "It is a beautiful car," said Roseberry. "It drives beautifully and gets great gas mileage."
The car giveaway is the newest and most exciting promotion for the Wichita Stealth this season. "This promotion is our way of giving back to our fans," said Stealth operator, David Key. "We believe this promotion enhances the entertainment value of our product."
"I would take arena football over the NFL any day," said Roseberry. "The activity of arena football is awesome and so fast paced."
The next car giveaway will be April 26th when the Stealth take on the Tulsa Talons. Tickets are on sale now by calling 316.755.3307.
