
Legion FC Signs Goalkeeper, Birmingham Native Seth Torman

BIRMINGHAM, AL - Birmingham Legion FC announced today the signing of former University of Alabama at Birmingham standout and Alabama All-State goalkeeper Seth Torman, pending league and federation approval.
"We're excited to add Seth to our group," said President and GM Jay Heaps. "He's a player that has deep ties to the community and has potential on the field to come in and provide us some quality depth this season at the goalkeeper position."
Torman started in goal both years he played for Pelham High School en route to winning the 2017 6A State Championship and earning a spot on the All-State First Team for his efforts. He then went on to make 31 appearances and 127 saves in four years at UAB, before training regularly with Legion FC in 2022.
"Super excited to sign my first pro contract with my hometown team!" said Torman. "Really looking forward to working with this goalkeeper group and excited to see what this team can do this year."
