Legends Rained Out; Doubleheader Set for Saturday

(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) The Lexington Legends were rained out of their scheduled game against the West Virginia Power at Whitaker Bank Ballpark Friday night. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday, May 11. The first of two seven-inning games will begin at 6:05 p.m. Saturday. Gates will open at 5 p.m.

Baseball Hall of Famer Gaylord Perry will appear as scheduled Saturday night. He will be available for autographs beginning at 6 p.m. and will throw a ceremonial first pitch before the second game of the doubleheader. A Ford Fireworks show will follow the second game.

Saturday also is the official launch party for Kentucky IPA. There will be $1 IPA draft and $2 IPA 16 oz. cans for sale throughout Whitaker Bank Ballpark. There will also be live music featuring Newtown, games, and giveaways in the tent on the first base side at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.
