Legends President Stein Receives Vision Award From Bluegrass Tomorrow

Alan Stein, president and chief executive officer of the Lexington Legends, has received a Vision Award from Bluegrass Tomorrow, a regional planning organization serving the 14-county central Bluegrass region of Kentucky.

The awards were presented October 30 at Bluegrass Tomorrow's 20th Anniversary Vision Awards/InnoVision Breakfast at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Lexington

Stein was recognized for his realized vision of improving quality of life in the region by bringing minor league baseball and a multi-purpose ballpark to the Bluegrass.

"I am pleased to accept the award on behalf of all the staff and investors, past and present, who have shared the vision," Stein said.

"I've had the pleasure of working with Alan for five years, and I feel like I learn something new every day," said Legends General Manager Andy Shea. "He truly does not waste a minute of the day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year. I'm proud to work with Alan."

"Recipients of this year's Vision Awards are outstanding examples of Bluegrass actions that have far-reaching impact," said Bluegrass Tomorrow Chairman Blaine Early of the law firm Stites & Harbison. "Our selection committee did a great job of choosing visionaries from our region."
