
Legend Grant Fuhr To Perform Ceremonial Face-off At Champion's Cup Final

GLENDALE, AZ --- The Arizona Sting announced today that the ceremonial face-off at Saturday afternoon's NLL Championship Match will be performed by hockey legend Grant Fuhr.
Currently a member of the Phoenix Coyotes' coaching staff, Mr. Fuhr is a five-time Stanley Cup Champion and is generally regarded as one of the best goalies in the history of the National Hockey League. In 868 games played for Edmonton, Toronto, Buffalo, Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Calgary, Grant compiled a record of 403-295-114 and a G.A.A. of 3.38 over the course of 19 NHL seasons. A native of Spruce Grove, Alberta, Mr. Fuhr appeared in two Canada Cup Tournaments, leading Team Canada to victory on both occasions. A six-time NHL All-Star, Grant was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003.
The Sting will face the Rochester Knighthawks in the NLL Championship Game on Saturday, May 12, at 1:00pm at Jobing.com Arena.
