San Jose Stealth News Release

(San Jose, CA, May 10, 2007) --- After playing instrumental roles in the San Jose Stealth's turnaround season, goaltender Anthony Cosmo and forward Colin Doyle have been selected to the 2007 National Lacrosse League All-Pro Teams. Cosmo, who also received the NLL's Progressive Goaltender of the Year Award, earned First Team All-Pro honors, while six-time NLL All-Star Doyle was named to the second team.

Cosmo earned his first All-Pro selection by leading the League in goals-against average (10.22) and save percentage (79.2%). Cosmo logged the sixth-most minutes (810:00) of any goalie this season while posting a record of 8-5. The veteran goaltender anchored a Stealth defense that allowed fewer goals (170) than any other team in the League and helped the club finish with a 9-7 record while securing their first playoff berth since their inaugural season.

Doyle, who joined the team before the season, sparked a Stealth turnaround that saw them improve from 5-11 last season to 9-7 this year. Doyle finished tied for fourth in the League with 59 assists and 22 goals for 81 points. Doyle scored nine power play and two short handed goals and collected 58 loose balls. Doyle has been named to five Second Team All-Pro squads and is a three-time First Team member.
