
Left Back Mike Randolph out 4-6 Weeks with High Ankle Sprain

Atlanta, Ga. (September 18, 2014) - The Atlanta Silverbacks announced today that team captain Mike Randolph will miss approximately 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Randolph injured his right ankle in a match on September 13th in New York against the Cosmos. He was replaced in the 69th minute by Ramiro Canovas.
The left back has started 17 of the club's 19 NASL matches in 2014, tied with Junior Sandoval for most starts on the team this year. Randolph also started all four of the club's 2014 U.S. Open Cup games. Since joining the Silverbacks in 2012, the 28-year-old has appeared in 46 matches in all competitions.
The Silverbacks play their next two matches at home, hosting the Ottawa Fury on Saturday, September 20 (7:30 PM) and the San Antonio Scorpions on Saturday, September 27 (7:30 PM) at Silverbacks Park.
