FC Edmonton will take on the Tampa Bay Rowdies for the first time since the club's 2014 North American Soccer League (NASL) season opener on Sunday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. MT KO. The match will be presented by Crosstown Auto Centre and will be a Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Day with support from the Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC).
The Eddies anticipate the club's second sell out crowd of the year on Sunday with ticket sales reaching 98 per cent sold out with only a few days to go before the match. Regardless of the crowd, all fans in attendance will surely be thrilled with the match.
The Tampa Bay Rowdies remain in third place in the NASL Fall Season Standings while FC Edmonton slipped to fifth place with their point out of Indy. In the NASL Combined Standings, the Rowdies are one point behind the Carolina RailHawks for fourth place and a spot in The Championship, and FC Edmonton sit in seventh and are four points out of a spot in The Championship. The Eddies currently sit three points behind the Rowdies in the NASL Combined Standings.
FC Edmonton will continue their push for a post season spot on Sunday against the Rowdies at Clarke Stadium. Tickets start at just $10 in the YMCA Family Fun Zone.
