Huntsville Stars News Release
The Milwaukee Brewers have made a pair of roster moves that will impact the Double-A affiliate Huntsville Stars prior to today's game against the Tennessee Smokies.
OF Lee Haydel has been activated from the disabled list and will be available for today's game. Prior to going on the DL back on May 10, Haydel was batting .297 with 30 hits and 19 runs in 101 at-bats over 29 games.
OF Caleb Gindl has been placed on the temporary inactive list. Gindl has been on a hot streak lately, batting .285 in 37 games with a .431 slugging percentage.
These moves keep the Stars active roster at 24, the Southern League limit.
The Smokies and Stars face-off today for game five of the five-game series at Joe Davis Stadium. RHP Alberto Cabrera (0-0, 0.00) will take the mound for the visiting Smokies. The Stars will look to their own RHP Alex Periard (1-2, 4.15 ERA) to get their second win in as many days. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
