Launch Downed by Dallas in Season Finale

August 4, 2018 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) - Florida Launch News Release

FRISCO, TX. - The Launch fought hard in a nail bitter tonight, but eventually dropped their last game of the season to the Dallas Rattlers, 14-13.

Connor Buczek and Kieran McArdle lead the team with five points each, four of Buczek's coming in the first 30 minutes of play. It was a game of two halves. In the first half the Launch led 10-4 going into halftime, but could not find their offensive motion from the first half. Goalie Austin Kaut played well, making 17 stops in cage and finishes the season as the league's top performing goalie in saves for the second straight season. The Rattlers needed a two-point goal in the last 15 seconds of the game to secure the win after being down the entire game.

Dylan Molloy ends his sophomore campaign as the league's second leading goal scorer with 41 and 59 total points.

Coach Mariano - "We needed to be hungrier coming out of halftime."

Austin Kaut - 17 saves, league leader with 228 saves

Kieran McArdle - 5 points off 3 goals and 2 assists

Connor Buczek - 5 points off 4 goals, 1 assist
