Minnesota United FC News Release
A week after stealing all three points with a stoppage time goal against the Atlanta Silverbacks, a late goal cost the NSC Minnesota Stars in a 1-1 draw with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers at Lockhart Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Devin Del Do gave the Stars the lead in the 60th minute with his first goal of the season. The Stars looked set for a second win in two road games to start the season, but a late penalty gave the Strikers a lifeline, and Eduardo Coudet sent goalkeeper Joe Warren the wrong way to convert the 91st minute penalty kick and rescue a result for the Strikers. The result gives the Stars a 1-0-1 record with four points in the 2011 North American Soccer League season.
