Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
The Williamsport Crosscutters fell to 0-4 in extra inning games this season with their 2-1 loss to the Batavia Muckdogs.
Ethan Lindow was strong, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings. It was the 19-year-old longest outing of the season.
Rafael Carvajal and Keylan Killgore combined to toss three innings of scoreless relief, each picking up a strike out with the would be go-ahead run at 3rd base to end an inning.
Madison Stokes plated the lone cutters run, ripping a RBI double to left-center in the bottom of the first inning. It was Stokes 3rd double and 8th RBI of the season.
Rafael Marchan extended his on-base streak to 17 games and his current hitting streak to 7 games, finishing 2 for 5 at the plate with a run scored.
