ROSEMONT, IL -- Karl Stewart scored a shorthanded goal with 44 seconds left in the third period to lift the Chicago Wolves to a 2-1 win over the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks in Game Two of the West Division final Saturday at Allstate Arena.
Cory Larose also scored and Michael Garnett made 35 saves for Chicago, which leads the best-of-seven series two games to none.
Aaron Rome had the lone goal for Cincinnati, which fell to 1-5 away from home in the playoffs.
Ilya Bryzgalov, who finished with 30 saves, suffered his second straight loss.
Game Three of the series will be played Monday at Cincinnati Gardens at 7:35 p.m.
