Las Vegas Locomotives Ready to Open Training Camp

LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas Locomotives start on the road toward their third consecutive United Football League (UFL) championship when training camp opens on Friday, Aug. 26.

Training camp practices will be open to the public, and fans will have the opportunity to meet and get autographs from their favorite players throughout camp. All practices will take place at Star Nursery Fields at Sam Boyd Stadium and fans are encouraged to visit www.lasvegaslocos.com to view the open practice schedule. The camp will include a team scrimmage at Sam Boyd Stadium, which is open to the public for free, on Friday, Sept. 2 at 8 p.m.

"Our goal is clear and we are not shy in letting the entire league know it," said Jim Fassel, Las Vegas Locomotives head coach, president and general manager. "We want and expect to win a third straight championship and I know that we have the players to accomplish that goal. The league is filled with lots of great talent this season, and I look forward to the challenge the other teams will present throughout our schedule."

Throughout training camp, fans will also get a sneak peak at some of the upcoming season's game day events and promotions. The Locos have a full schedule of events planned to coincide with each home game this season, and the team cannot wait to share its plans with the dedicated fan base.
