About: Fassel's career regular season record as a professional football coach is 69-59-1. He had a record of 58-53-1 in seven seasons as the head coach of the New York Giants in the NFL and a record of 11-6 in his time as head coach of the Locos.
Omaha Nighthawks Head Coach: Joe Moglia

About: Moglia is in his first season as head coach of the Omaha Nighthawks. The former TD Ameritrade CEO came to the Nighthawks after serving as an executive advisor at the University of Nebraska under head coach Bo Pelini in 2010. Prior to entering the world of finance in the 1980s, Moglia coached football for 16 years. During that time he won two Ivy League championships as Defensive Coordinator at Dartmouth, turned around two high school programs, wrote a book on coaching and had articles published in national coaching journals.
The Game:
The Locos and Nighthawks will play each other for the second consecutive week after Las Vegas defeated Omaha 30-10 on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Las Vegas. The Locos dominated most of the first matchup statistically, but they struggled to find the end zone in the first half with only a 9-0 lead at halftime. The second half was a different story as the home team found its groove on offense and put three touchdowns on the board.
The Nighthawks will look to build on their successes from the Oct. 8 game to make their second matchup more competitive with the Locomotives this week. For the Locos, the team will stress a decrease in penalties and better execution in the red zone to increase touchdown production.
The Series:
Las Vegas leads the series 3 - 0. The Locos won both meetings during Omaha's first UFL season in 2010 and defeated the Nighthawks in Week 4 of the 2011 season.

Storylines:
Locos Running Wild
Prior to their Oct. 8 matchup against the Nighthawks, the Locos stressed the need to build momentum in their running game. The team answered by gaining 147 yards on the ground and producing 10 of the Locos' 18 first downs via the rushing attack. Marcel Shipp led the way with 78 yards on 13 carries and 1 touchdown. The performance was Shipp's best in the 2011 season and helped spark the Locos offense in the second half. DeDe Dorsey and Hakim Hill added 45 and 20 yards respectively to help cement the Locos' solid day on the ground.
Locos Defense Has Omaha's Number - It's 10
In three games against the Omaha Nighthawks, the Las Vegas defense has yet to give up more than 10 points. In fact, the Nighthawks have scored exactly 10 points in all three matchups against the Locos. The Locos defense has been one of the best since the UFL's launch in 2009, and Omaha has been a firsthand witness to Las Vegas' defensive success.
Clement Continues Accurate Passing
Quarterback Chase Clement tossed his first touchdown pass of the year while putting together another accurate performance against the Omaha Nighthawks on Oct. 8. Clement finished the game 21 of 30 passing for 254 yards and 1 touchdown. His day was bolstered by a solid downfield passing performance highlighted by completions of 47 yards to receiver Andrae Thurman and 44 yards to receiver Saalim Hakim. During the game, Clement managed to hit nine different receivers, including Jamie Petrowski for his 15-yard touchdown pass.

#1 DeDe Dorsey RB 5-11 210 Lindenwood
Dorsey was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Lindenwood . Dorsey has also been a member of the Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions . Dorsey joined the Locomotives in 2009. He scored two touchdowns for the Las Vegas Locomotives against the California Redwoods in the first ever game of the UFL on Oct. 8, 2009. He rushed for 63 yards on nine carries and 3 receptions. On Nov. 27, 2009, in the first-ever UFL Championship game, Dorsey rushed 11 times for 66 yards and scored on touchdown runs of 38 yards and 1 yard to help the Las Vegas Locomotives defeat the previously unbeaten Florida Tuskers 20-17 in overtime. Dorsey was named MVP of the game. Dorsey re-signed with the Las Vegas Locomotives on Sept. 24, 2010. On Oct. 5, he was named UFL Player Of The Week for week 3. Dorsey returned to the Locos in 2011 after not making an NFL roster.

#2 Chase Clement QB 6-1 220 Rice 2011 UFL season as the Locos' starter
Clement won Game Most Valuable Player honors in the 2010 UFL title game. He the led Las Vegas Locomotives to a 23-20 victory over the Florida Tuskers by going 15-for-24 for 239 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and rushing for 30 yards on five carries. Clement started the Locos' final regular-season game in 2010, and ended the regular season 17-for-35 for 212 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. He also ran for 84 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Clement briefly gained professional experience with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League in June 2009.
2011 Season: 51-83 passing for 562 yards and 1 touchdown; 14 rushes for 77 yards and 2 touchdowns; Clement earned UFL Offensive Player of the Week honors in Week 1 vs. Sacramento
#3 Clint Stitser PK 6-1 200 Fresno State
Stitser played college football for the Fresno State Bulldogs from 2003-2007. He made 71% of his field goals in his college career. He went undrafted in the 2008 NFL Draft. He was signed by the New York Jets on April 6, 2010 but was waived on June 1. He signed with the Seattle Seahawks on August 17, 2010 and played in one preseason game for the Seahawks. He made a 35-yard field goal in the game, and converted all three extra point attempts. He was waived on August 31, 2010. On November 30, 2010, he was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals, replacing ineffective starter Aaron Pettrey. Stitser signed with the Washington Redskins on August 17, 2011, but was waived on August 30.
2011 Season: 4 - 4 on field goals, long 45 yards; earned UFL Special Teams Player of the Week Honors following his week 4 performance against Omaha
#5 Zac Lee QB 6-2 215 Nebraska
Lee joins the Locos in 2011 for his first season of professional football. During his time with Nebraska, he threw for 2,250 yards with 14 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also earned First-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2009 and 2010.
#8 Danny Baugher P 5-10 194 Arizona
Baugher is the punter for the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League . He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Arizona . Baugher has also been a member of the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons and Oakland Raiders .

#10 Saalim Hakim WR 6-0 195
Hakim is a newcomer to the Locos roster who has shown great speed and pass catching availability throughout the Locos 2011 training camp. One of the team's youngest members, Hakim played his college football at Palomar College.
2011 Season: 3 receptions for 81 yards and 1 touchdown
#12 Brian Brohm QB 6-4 223 Louisville
The Las Vegas Locos picked up former star Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm during their 2011 training camp. Brohm had a standout collegiate career at Louisville from 2004-2008, leading the Cardinals to an Orange Bowl victory in 2007. Following his career at Louisville, he was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Brohm remained with the Packers until he was waived by the team in 2009. The Buffalo Bills picked him up in November of 2009 and Brohm made his first career NFL start in December 2009 against the Atlanta Falcons.
2011 Season: 10 - 19 passing for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns
#18 Eddie Drummond WR 5-9 190 Penn State
After being out of football for two years, on June 13, 2011 Drummond signed with the Las Vegas Locomotives . He was signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2002. He played college football at Penn State . A Pro Bowl selection with the Lions in 2004, Drummond has also been a member of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers .
2011 Season: 10 kick returns for 207 yards, long 30 yards; 7 punt returns for 84 yards, long 22 yards
#22 Hakim Hill RB 6-0 215 Arizona
An athletic running back with experience in the Canadian Football League, Hill rejoins the Las Vegas Locomotives for a second season. Hill ran for 37 yards on 16 carries during the 2010 UFL regular season, and he had the eventual game-winning 37-yard touchdown run in the 2010 UFL Championship Game. He gained professional experience in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts in 2005, playing in four games and rushing for 61 yards and 1 touchdown on 17 carries. He also added 14 receptions for 115 yards that season. Hill also briefly spent time with the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2007, but he did not see any regular season action.
2011 Season: 13 rushes for 88 yards; 3 receptions for 29 yards and 1 touchdown
#26 Marcel Shipp RB 5-11 224 Massachusetts
Shipp returns for a third season in the UFL after being protected by the Las Vegas Locomotives for the 2011 campaign. He was Locos' second-leading rusher in 2010 with 318 yards and led team with 114 carries and four rushing touchdowns. Shipp also caught six passes for 54 yards. In the 2010 UFL Championship Game victory over Florida, he ran for 43 yards on 16 carries and caught a pass for two yards. Shipp also won a UFL championship with the Locos in 2009 after finishing fourth in the league with 257 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns on 72 carries while adding two receptions for 14 yards. He boasts a wealth of NFL experience after playing in 88 games with 28 starts for the Arizona Cardinals from 2001-07. Shipp rushed for 2,197 yards (56 long) and 11 touchdowns on 605 carries and added 113 receptions for 937 yards (80 long) and 3 touchdowns during his NFL career. His best season came in 2002 when he carried 188 times for 834 yards and 6 touchdowns and added 38 catches for 413 yards and 3 scores.
2011 Season: 30 rushes for 123 yards and 1 touchdown; 2 receptions for 8 yards
#35 Bobby Rome FB 5-11 250 North Carolina
Rome returns to the Las Vegas Locomotives for 2011 after serving as team's starting fullback in 2010 as a rookie. He caught 11 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown during the regular season, then broke out in the 2010 UFL Championship Game with a team-high four catches for 44 yards and a kickoff return for 18 yards. Rome gained his first professional experience in March 2010 after he spent some time with the NFL's Green Bay Packers.
2011 Season: 7 reception for 45 yards and 0 touchdowns; 1 punt return for 9 yards
#60 Rigo Morales LS 6-1 250 Texas A&M Kingsville
Long-snapping specialist Morales returns to Las Vegas for his third UFL campaign. He was the Locos' long snapper in all eight regular-season games and the UFL Championship Game in 2010, and he served as the Locos' long snapper in all six-regular season games and the UFL Championship Game in 2009.
#65 Tony Ugoh OG 6-5 301 Arkansas
Ugoh was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft, after the Colts gave up a first-round pick in 2008 for the chance to move up in the 2007 draft and select him. He took over as the starting left tackle after Tarik Glenn retired during the offseason. The Colts waived Ugoh in September 2010. In December 2010, Ugoh was signed by the Detroit Lions for the remainder of the 2010 NFL season but was released prior to the start of the 2011 season this past August. He joined the Locos during Week 4 of the 2011 UFL season.
#71 Mark Wilson OG 6-6 300 California
Wilson was a fifth-round pick for the Washington Redskins in the 2004 NFL Draft. He spent two seasons in Washington (2004-2005) and three seasons in Oakland (2006-2009) before joining the Locos during the 2011 UFL season.
#73 Joel Bell OT 6-7 310 Furman
After spending time in the NFL and CFL, Bell was drafted by the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League, fifth overall in the 2011 UFL Draft . He played college football for the Furman Paladins .
#74 Herb Taylor OT 6-3 300 Texas Christian
Taylor was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. At TCU, he started all 48 games of his college career, a school record. Taylor has also been a member of the Denver Broncos and New York Giants. He played with the Locos briefly during the 2010 UFL season and was resigned by the team during Week 4 of the 2011 UFL season.
#75 Tim Duckworth G 6-5 318 Auburn
Duckworth has also been a member of the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers of the National Football League . Duckworth was a member of the Saints practice squad during their 2007 and 2008 seasons, and then after a 2008 post-season stint on the Eagles practice squad, he rejoined the Saints practice squad for their Super Bowl -winning 2009 season. Duckworth was released by the Saints on Aug. 24, 2010. He signed with Carolina on Aug. 30, 2010. On Oct. 10, 2010, Duckworth was released by the Panthers
#75 Branndon Braxton OT 6-6 312 Oklahoma
Braxton signed an undrafted rookie contract with the Cleveland Browns shortly after the 2009 NFL Draft . He is one of four rookie Oklahoma Sooner offensive linemen who joined the NFL that season. He was waived prior to the season opening.
#77 Brandon Torrey G 6-4 310 Howard
Torrey has also been a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers (2006-2007), Baltimore Ravens (2007), Arizona Cardinals (2007), New York Giants (2007-2008), Tennessee Titans (2008), Oakland Raiders (2008) and Houston Texans (2009). He earned a Super Bowl ring while on the Giants' practice squad in Super Bowl XLII .
#78 Keith Gray G Connecticut
Gray played in 34 games for UConn in 2005-08 and was a team captain. He signed with the Indianapolis Colts last December and was assigned to their practice squad before being released in January. Prior to that, Gray was with the Carolina Panthers after signing as a free agent in April 2009. He played in two preseason games and was waived at the end of training camp.
#79 Jesse Boone C 6-4 300 Utah
Boone returns for a third season in the UFL after being protected by the Las Vegas Locomotives. He was the full-time starter at center for the Locos in 2009 and 2010 as they won back-to-back UFL championships. Boone led the Locos in total plays and knockdown blocks in 2009. He entered the NFL as a free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006. Other professional experience includes starting 10 games at right tackle for the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe in 2007, time on the practice squad of the Oakland Raiders in 2008 and a stint with the Utah Blaze of the Arena Football League.
#80 Cameron Colvin WR 6-2 205 Oregon
Colvin is a talented wide receiver looking to see his first on-field professional action with the Locos this season. He also spent time in training camp with the Sacramento Mountain Lions in 2010.
2011 Season: 8 receptions for 71 yards and 0 touchdowns
#81 Andrae Thurman WR 5-11 190 Arizona
Thurman returns for a third season in the UFL after being protected by the Las Vegas Locomotives. He was one of the UFL's top wide receivers with 23 catches for 299 yards and two touchdowns during the 2010 regular season, and he caught three passes for 96 yards in the 2010 UFL Championship Game, including a record-75-yard touchdown grab. Thurman caught 15 passes for 218 yards (33 long) and one touchdown during the 2009 regular season, and he added one reception for 17 yards in the 2009 UFL Championship Game defeat of Florida. Thurman entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2004 and spent time with the New York Giants and Houston Texans before making his regular season debut for the Green Bay Packers. He played in 17 games for the Packers (2004-05) and Tennessee Titans (2005) with one start. His career numbers are 9 catches for 104 yards, and his best season came with the Packers in 2005 when he played in 10 games, catching 7 passes for 92 yards. Thurman also played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League in 2006 and caught 40 passes for 426 yards and 1 touchdown. He started 14 of 16 games for the Arena Football League's Dallas Desperados in 2007 and caught 65 passes for 839 yards and 19 touchdowns.
2011 Season: 9 receptions for 114 yards and 0 touchdowns; 1 rush for 5 yards
#84 Dezmond Sherrod TE 6-2 250 Mississippi State
A former Super Bowl-winning tight end, Sherrod returns to Locos for second UFL season. As Las Vegas' No. 3 tight end, he caught a pass for three yards during the 2010 regular season. Sherrod entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2008 and spent the year on the club's practice squad, picking up a Super Bowl ring following Pittsburgh's victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He also boasts off-season experience with the Houston Texans.
2011 Season: 1 reception for 6 yards
#85 Samie Parker WR 5-10 190 Oregon
Parker was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft . He played for them from 2004 to 2007. Parker was signed by the Denver Broncos in the 2008 offseason; however, he was released on Aug. 25 before the regular season. A day after being released by the Broncos, Parker was signed by the Carolina Panthers when the team waived wide receiver Sean Bailey . He was later released on Aug. 30, 2008. Parker was signed by the Seattle Seahawks on Sept. 10, 2008. He was released three days later after the team signed wide receiver Michael Bumpus off its practice squad. Parker was signed by the Oakland Raiders on May 12, 2009. He was released on Aug. 26 to make room for cornerback Mike Hawkins . Parker played with the Locomotives for the inaugural season of the UFL. The Chicago Rush of the Arena Football League signed Parker for the team's 2010 season. Parker started 11 games for the Rush, catching 78 passes for 1,135 yards and 15 touchdowns. Parker is back for his third season with the Locos.
2011 Season: 4 receptions for 101 yards and 0 touchdowns; Parker broke the record for longest pass reception in Week 1 vs. Sacramento with an 83-yard catch from Clement
#87 Adam Bergen TE 6-4 253 Lehigh
Returns for a third season in the UFL after being protected by the two-time champion Las Vegas Locomotives... Despite fighting injuries in 2010, caught 19 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown during the regular season, including a nine-catch effort in Week 1...Was a key member of the championship-winning team of 2009, catching 16 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns during the six-game regular season...Led all receivers in the 2009 Championship Game defeat of Florida by reeling in seven passes for 52 yards...Played in 30 NFL games with 16 starts for the Arizona Cardinals in the 2005-06 seasons... Caught 43 passes for 381 yards (32 long) and 2 touchdowns... Best season was in 2005 when he started nine games and caught 28 passes for 270 yards and 1 score... Also boasts NFL off-season experience with the Dallas Cowboys (2007), Baltimore Ravens.

#89 Jamie Petrowski TE 6-4 262 Indiana State
After going undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft, Petrowski signed as a free agent with the Tennessee Titans on May 3, 2006. He was waived during final cuts on September 2. The Titans signed him to their practice squad, where he remained for the final three games. Petrowski has also been a member of the Frankfurt Galaxy, Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers . Petrowski was signed by the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League on May 11, 2011.

Returns for a third season in the UFL after being protected by the Las Vegas Locomotives... Started and played one game for the Locos in 2010 before suffering a season-ending injury... #27 Marquis Floyd CB 6-0 190 West Georgia
He was signed by the Tennessee Valley Vipers as a street free agent in 2004. Floyd has also played for the Rio Grande Valley Dorados (2005), San Jose SaberCats (2006-2008), Seattle Seahawks (2008-2009), Cleveland Browns (2009), Dallas Cowboys (2009-2010) and Arizona Rattlers (2011).

Smith played in 46 games making 45 starts in four years at Bowling Green (2005-08), compiling 249 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 6 interceptions, 26 pass breakups, 5 fumble recoveries and 3 forced fumbles...Led the MAC with 11 pass breakups as a senior and finished the year with 73 tackles, six tackles for loss, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. Following the 2009 NFL Draft, Smith was signed to a rookie free-agent contract with the Cleveland Browns.

#50 Eric Henderson DE 6-3 265 Georgia Tech
Entering his third season with the Locos. He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He was waived on Sept. 2, 2006 and then signed September 4 to the Bengals practice squad where he spent the full season. Henderson played in all four preseason games in 2006, recording five total tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble. On Jan. 2, 2007, he was signed to Bengals offseason roster. Henderson spent the first seven weeks of the 2008 season on the Bengals' practice squad. He was signed to the active roster on Oct. 24 after fullback Reagan Maui'a was placed on injured reserve . On Dec. 10, 2008, Henderson was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a neck injury. He finished the 2008 season with two tackles in two games. The Bengals released Henderson on April 27, 2009.

#52 Simoni Lawrence LB 6-0 232 Minnesota
Lawrence spent most of the 2011 training camp on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster. He was released during final cuts at the beginning of September and was picked up by the Locos.

Montgomery was drafted in the sixth round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers and played with the team through the 2009 season. He spent time with Minnesota and Green Bay last season before joining the Locos for their 2011 campaign.

Veteran linebacker begins his second UFL season with the Locomotives this fall... Made five total tackles during the regular season for the Locos in 2010, and one solo tackle in the UFL Championship Game...Joined the Locos after a 2010 training camp stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars... Spent four seasons in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs (2005-06) and the Cleveland Browns (2007-08)...Played in 46 games in the NFL, primarily on special teams, including all 16 with the Chiefs in 2006...Also played in NFL Europe in 2006 with the Hamburg Sea Devils.

Moore has also been a member of the New England Patriots (2002), San Francisco 49ers (2002 -2007), Arizona Cardinals (2008). Moore was drafted by the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League and signed with the team on August 5, 2009. Moore was a starter for the Locomotives, and won UFL championship titles both seasons that he was a member of the franchise.

#57 Teddy Lehman LB 6-2 238 Oklahoma
He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft . He played college football at Oklahoma . Lehman has also been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars . Lehman signed with the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League on Aug. 5, 2009. On May 11, 2010 Teddy Lehman signed a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars . He was one of eight players that participated in the club's May 1-3 mini-camp on a tryout basis. On Sept. 3, 2010 he was released by the Jaguars. He returned to the Locos in 2010.

He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2008. Lansanah has also been a member of the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and Hartford Colonials . He joined the Locos in 2011.

Stanley has 54 tackles in 32 career NFL games with the Jaguars and Falcons.
