Las Vegas Locomotives Get Ready for the 2011 UFL Season with Tweetup at Grimaldi's Pizzeria

LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas Locomotives (Locos) are getting ready for the 2011 United Football League (UFL) season by hosting a Tweetup for fans on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grimaldi's Pizzeria on 7155 S. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89113.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet and mingle two days before the Locos kick off the 2011 UFL season on the road against Sacramento Mountain Lions on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Locos merchandise, apparel and photos will be up for grabs in raffle drawings throughout the event, and all Tweetup attendees will receive a voucher that can be redeemed for a ticket to a Locos home game this season. Members of the Las Vegas Locomotives Locomotion dance team will also be on hand to pump up the Locos spirit.
Grimaldi's will provide complimentary appetizers, pizza squares and soft drinks throughout the Tweetup. The first 25 Tweeters to arrive will also receive a voucher for one complimentary beer, sangria or glass of house wine.
The Las Vegas Locomotives 2011 home campaign includes games on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 5 p.m. against the Omaha Nighthawks, Saturday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. against the Sacramento Mountain Lions and Thursday, oct. 27 at 7 p.m. against the Virginia Destroyers. All home games are played at Sam Boyd Stadium.
