LAS VEGAS - The two-time defending United Football League (UFL) champion Las Vegas Locomotives are getting a new look off the field this season thanks to the launch of the www.lasvegaslocos.com team website today.
The new site will be the main source for team information and provide fans with an interactive and social experience as they stay up to date on all Las Vegas Locos related items. In addition to breaking team news and features, the site will also host player, coach and dance team bios; updated player statistics; team schedule and results; a live feed of the Locos Twitter and Facebook accounts; behind-the-scenes team photos; events and promotions; game day information; and much more.
"Developing a first-rate website was one of our top priorities for the upcoming season," said Jim Fassel, Las Vegas Locos head coach, president and general manager. "We have a very loyal and dedicated fan base, and I wanted to provide them with a quality, one-stop source for exciting team news and information."
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase their favorite Locos merchandise directly through the site as well. After winning two championships, the team has developed a strong demand for merchandise. The site will feature a wide selection of popular items for sale throughout the season, such as authentic and replica team jerseys, Las Vegas Locos hats and T-shirts and various team accessories.
Additionally, fans will gain inside access to the team through various features on the site. The player, Locomotion dancer and coach of the week features will each give fans a chance to learn more about individual members of the organization. Videos of the Locos' team facilities, including training and locker rooms, will offer fans a look into the inner workings of a professional football team, and an up-to-date promotions and events section will provide fans with a go-to source for keeping up with the team.
