
Las Vegas Aces Tip at Noon, Tuesday, for Camp Day Tilt against Chicago

LAS VEGAS - Idle Las Vegas moved into a third-place tie in the WNBA standings, Sunday, thanks to the Phoenix Mercury's upending of the Seattle Storm. The Aces will try to break free from that tie, Tuesday, with a 12 pm PT tip against the Chicago Sky at Mandalay Bay Events Center..
Las Vegas improved to 7-5 on the season with a 102-97 overtime victory against Indiana, Saturday. A'ja Wilson tied a program record with 39 points in the win, and Liz Cambage tied a WNBA record by scoring 12 points in the extra stanza.
Wilson was named WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week thanks in part to her performance Saturday.
The Aces' defense is still ranked first in the league as the team allows 93.6 points per 100 possessions. They also rank first in the W in defensive field goal percentage, adjusted defensive field goal percentage and defensive rebound percentage.
Chicago has dropped three in a row, and four of its last five games heading into Tuesday's game. The Sky's most recent result was a 94-69 loss at Los Angeles, Sunday.
Chicago ranks third in the WNBA in field goal percentage, and is led by Diamond DeShields, who is averaging 14.8 points per game. Courtney Vandersloot leads the league in assists (7.7), and Allie Quigley is second in the W in three-point field goal percentage (.492).
Las Vegas took two of three from the Sky last season, including an 84-80 victory at Mandalay Bay.
