
Laplante called up to Iowa

WICHITA, KS- Goaltender Sebastien Laplante was called up to the American Hockey League's (AHL) Iowa Stars, the Wichita Thunder announced today.
Laplante, a 24-year-old native of Casselman, Ontario, will be in uniform for the Dallas Stars' affiliate tonight when they host the Peoria Rivermen at 7:05 p.m. LaPlante has appeared in 21 games for the Thunder this season, posting an 11-5-3 record with a .911 save percentage and a 3.10 GAA.
Laplante is expected back with the Thunder on Tuesday when they host the Oklahoma City Blazers at 7:05 p.m. The Thunder defeated the Fort Worth Brahmas in their last game on Friday, Bank of the West Teddy Bear Toss Night. The Thunder collected 1148 stuffed animals, shattering their single-game record of 714.
