Colorado Mammoth News Release
New York - Colorado Mammoth players Brian Langtry and Ted Dowling have had appeals granted and will play Sunday in the team's regular season finale against the Toronto Rock.
The appeals were filed protesting suspensions handed down by the National Lacrosse League following a bench-clearing brawl in the last minute of the Colorado Mammoth-Albany Attack game April 28. Langtry and Dowling had been suspended for one game each.
Mammoth assistant captain Brian Reese's appeal was denied and he will serve a one-game suspension during the Mammoth-Rock game.
Additionally, the Professional Lacrosse Players Association withdrew its appeals of suspensions of Mammoth players Bryan Cole, Rory Graham and Tom Still. Those single game suspensions also will be served this Sunday.
Albany Attack players Brian Kazarian and Ryan Sanderson will serve one-game suspensions for their parts in the Mammoth-Attack incident this weekend as the Attack takes on the Vancouver Ravens.
