St. Cloud Norsemen News Release
St. Cloud, MN - Two power-play goals and a stellar showing in net by Josh Langford led the St. Cloud Norsemen past the Minnesota Wilderness 3-2 for the team's third straight victory.
Despite the Norsemen outshooting the Wilderness 12-1 in the early moments of the first period, the Wilderness took the 1-0 lead off the opening goal from Landon Parker. Less than a minute later, St. Cloud tied the game with Brett Chorske's 13th of the season after an odd-man rush into the offensive end.
Early in the second, the Norsemen power-play gave them the lead Jack Suchy scored his eighth of the campaign. Mid-way through the frame, St. Cloud added a second power-play goal from Jack Reimann to take the 3-1 lead. Brendan Poshak would score shortly after to bring the Wilderness within a single tally.
Josh Langford would make 21 saves on 23 Wilderness shots as he earned his eighth victory of the season for the Norsemen.
With the win, the Norsemen improve to 17-26-1 and will take on the Minnesota Wilderness on Saturday, April 17 at 7:00PM in St. Cloud, MN. Mark Shelley will provide the Play-By-Play on the Lyon Sheet Metal & Heating Norsemen Network beginning at 6:50PM on HockeyTV.
