Langdon Returns, Beauchemin Called Up, Defenseman Dealt to Rapid City

The Allen Americans and Head Coach Dwight Mullins announced three transactions Tuesday, that will affect this Thursdays first place battle against the Wichita Thunder.

Allen Americans goalie of the week last week in the CHL Rejean Beauchemin, has been called up to San Antonio of the American Hockey League, for the second time in two weeks. Beauchemin has the lowest goals against average in the Central Hockey League at 1.98.

The Americans also announced that defenseman Scott Langdon has been returned to Allen from Lake Erie, the Americans primary AAA affiliate.

The Americans also made a trade deadline deal late Monday afternoon, sending defenseman Dominic DAmour to the Rapid City Rush for future considerations.

Dominic DAmour was signed a free agent earlier this year, playing in 28 games for the Americans, scoring 17 points, 1 goal, and 16 assists. DAmour a well traveled vet has also had stops in CHL cities Wichita, Missouri, and Rio Grande Valley. The native of LaSalle, PQ also played under Americans Associate Coach Bill McDonald in Dayton.

" With all the movement at the AHL level the last month we have been put in a situation of having to move a quality player to make room for others to return," said Americans Head Coach and GM Dwight Mullins.
