Landmesser Returns

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- After playing three games last weekend while on call-up to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, defenseman Derek Landmesser was assigned back to the Memphis RiverKings of the Central Hockey League yesterday (Monday). The CHL's leading defensive scorer will be back on the ice when the RiverKings host the Wichita Thunder Thursday night at 7:05. The RiverKings also waived defenseman Drew Terry yesterday to open up a roster spot for Landmesser.

Also, the Kevin McCelland Show returns tonight (Tuesday) to O'Charley's on Goodman Road in Southaven. The show can be heard from six to seven on Sports 56 WHBQ (AM 560). Fans are encouraged to stop by O'Charley's for a great dinner and listen to the show in person. The call-in number for radio listeners is 901-360-8255.

Upcoming promotions: This Thursday's game vs. Wichita is a 2 for 1 Gold Level Ticket Night. Tuesday, 2/28 is Miller Lite Mardi Gras Night. The first 1,500 fans receive Mardi Gras beads.

Be sure to take advantage of 2 for 1 deals on Tuesday, 2/21 and Tuesday 2/28: 2 for 1 gold level tickets, 2 for 1 hot dogs, 2 for 1 soft drinks and $2 draft beer. .
