Omaha Lancers News Release
LINCOLN, NE - The Omaha Lancers defeated the Lincoln Stars by a final score of 4-2 on Friday night at the Ice Box.
The Stars got out ahead when Brock Bremer (14:01) scored the lone goal of the period.
In the second frame, Logan Will (10:38) evened the game 1-1. The Stars got their second lead of the night later in the period when Glover (19:50) scored to make it 2-1 going into the second intermission.
In the third period, Ryan Lautenbach (3:04) evened the game for the second time for the Lancers. Logan Will (3:58) followed up with his second of the night to get the Lancers their first lead of the night. Lincoln pulled their netminder for the extra attacker, but Grant Anderson (19:50) shot the puck from the Lancers' right circle to score on the empty Stars net. The Lancers finished the night winning 4-2.
The Lancers and Stars are back in action on Sunday, January 5th at 5:35 PM for Undie Sunday. Fans are encouraged to bring unopened packages of undergarments to toss onto the ice for the Lancers' first goal of the night. All proceeds will be donated to Least of Our Brethren to help homeless in the Omaha and Council Bluffs Metro. All the action is on KOIL News Talk 1290 AM and Hockey TV.
