Lancers to Host Inaugural Golf Outing on September 9th

RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers announced today that they will host the inaugural "Lancers Classic" golf outing on Wednesday, September 9th at Tiburon Golf Club with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the "Leap-For-A-Cure" foundation.
"The Omaha Lancers are proud to partner with Leap-For-A-Cure on our inaugural golf outing," said Lancers Vice President Bryan Marshall. "The opportunity to support their organization is something that we are very passionate about."
Members of the 2015-2016 Lancers team and select alumni will be on hand for the tournament which begins with sign-ins at 11:00am on September 9th and continues with a shotgun start at 12:00pm. All registrations include lunch at the golf course and a steak dinner at Charlie's on the Lake following its conclusion.
There will also be a silent auction during dinner with a vast amount of items including signed merchandise, gift certificates, and much more.
Founded in 2008, Leap-For-A-Cure is a grass-roots organization benefiting the Omaha Community with brain cancer awareness, education, and treatment. Since its conception, Leap-For-A-Cure has raised over $600,000 in an effort to fight brain cancer and create awareness.
"We are honored that the Omaha Lancers are once again supporting brain cancer awareness and donating a portion of the proceeds to Leap-For-A-Cure," said Sue Roberts, founder of the Leap-For-A-Cure foundation. "Two community organizations teaming up together makes sense and we're excited to support this fantastic event."
On November 29th against the Tri-City Storm, the Lancers & Leap-For-A-Cure partnered up for an evening in which all the funds raised from a jersey auction were used by Leap-For-A-Cure to purchase and donate a therapy pool for patients of Methodist Health System.

On-course contests consisting of longest drive challenge, closest to the pin, and more will be a part of the event. You will have the option to participate in these games for $50.00 by either prepaying or purchasing at sign-in.
