Grafton, WI, May 1, 2012 - The Lakeshore Chinooks, the area's new baseball franchise, announces the release of single game tickets and a 6-Game Pick "˜Em Package. The Chinooks are the newest member of the Northwoods League, a summer collegiate baseball league boasting 16 teams divided into two divisions.

The Chinooks will feature top collegiate players from around the country including players from schools such as University of Florida, University of Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Louisville University and other top baseball schools.

Lakeshore Chinooks games offer affordable family fun with ticket prices ranging from $11 for reserved box seats to $5 for general admission entrance. An all-inclusive party area is also available for $25 per ticket, great for group outings. First pitch of the Chinooks inaugural season is June 4 at 6:35 p.m.

The Chinooks will play 70 games this summer; 35 home games at the new Kapco Park. Kapco Park is currently under construction on the campus of Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon and is also home to the CUW Falcons baseball team.

Chinooks games will include great gameday giveaways and fun in-between inning contests and promotions. Kapco Park concessions promises unique menu options as well as delicious baseball fare. In addition, a Kids Zone offers active fun for children, and exciting entertainment is promised for fans of all ages at each game.

The Northwoods League has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other summer collegiate baseball league in North America. To date, more than 80 Northwoods League players made it to the Major Leagues. The league has 16 teams in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, and Ontario.
