LAKELAND, FL â The Lakeland ThunderBolts' Goddesses and players participated on Saturday, in the 6th annual Citizen CPR Bedrace 2005 at Munn Park in Downtown Lakeland.
Each participating team had 5 members. One member sat on the custom built and festively decorated hospital bed, as the other four pushed the bed towards the finish line in an attempt to victory.
Lakeland ThunderBolts players who were unable to make the out of state game, due to injuries, were on hand to mingle and give autographs.
The bedrace also included a barbecue. All proceeds from the event benefited Citizen CPR.
