LAFC and adidas Collaborate on Release of New Limited Edition LAFC Delpala Shoes

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and adidas continue its tradition of collaboration, announcing plans to release the next global football shoe, the LAFC Delpala. The new LAFC Delpala will be available exclusively to LAFC Members on Friday, Aug. 12 at 8 a.m. PT via LAFCmoblieshop.com and local pickup at LAFC HQ starting at noon the same day. The LAFC Delpala will go on sale to the public on Saturday, Aug. 13 at LAFCmobileshop.com, MLSstore.com, adidas.com, and WSS.
Building off of the success of the first two limited edition LAFC Samba releases with adidas, the third edition custom shoe collaboration features a new silhouette: the LAFC Delpala, adidas longstanding streetwear shoe. The selection of the new style was driven by LAFC's passion to represent the history, diversity and cultures that make up Los Angeles, and adidas rich history in both the world football and LA's skateboarding scene.
The LAFC Delpala features a low-profile silhouette with a canvas and leather upper customized in LAFC's Black & Gold colorway. It is finished with a versatile, white Vulcanized gum rubber outsole that can take you from the skatepark, the corner store, and the stands.
LAFC made history in 2020, becoming the first-ever MLS club to collaborate with adidas Originals on a co-branded Samba. The original #StreetByStreet Samba sold out in seven minutes. An early adopter of LAFC, adidas joined the Club as a marketing partner in 2018. The brands have worked together to design each of the Club's kits since LAFC's inaugural season.
