Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Tuesday that the Labour Day Classic against the Toronto Argonauts on September 7th is sold out. It will be the 12th consecutive regular season and playoff sellout at Tim Hortons Field. Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to support the Purolator Tackle Hunger program on Labour Day.

Less than 500 tickets remain for the September 19th match-up with Edmonton. The Ticats and Eskimos kick off at 4 p.m, followed by an Ontario Football Conference (OFC) match-up between the Hamilton Hurricanes and Burlington Braves. All fans in attendance for the Tiger-Cats game will get to watch the OFC game free of charge.

The team will return to action at Tim Hortons Field on October 2 to host the Calgary Stampeders and start the final push towards the playoffs. The Tiger-Cats are extending a special offer to fans to be part of the action with The Fall Three Pack.

The package includes the best available tickets to each of the final-three home games (Oct. 2 vs. Calgary, Oct. 9 vs. Saskatchewan and Nov. 1 vs. Ottawa), priority access to purchase playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public and a Hamilton Tiger-Cats mini football. Ticket packages start from $117 for Silver Tickets ($39 per game), $147 for Gold ($49 per game). Call the Hamilton Tiger-Cats office at 905-547-2287 to purchase The Fall Three Pack while inventory remains.

Through four home games this season the Ticats have drawn at 103 percent of capacity at Tim Hortons Field. Attendance was 24,135 fans for the August 3 home opener versus Toronto, 24,068 on August 9 versus Winnipeg, 24,110 on August 15 versus B.C., and 24,212 on August 27 versus Montreal for a total of 96,525. Sellout is 23,500.
