LA Galaxy Travel for Match against Real Salt Lake on Saturday

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Sept. 14, 2015) - The LA Galaxy will train this week ahead of a road contest against Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium this Saturday, Sept. 19, at 6:30 p.m. PT live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes. LA Galaxy II will host Portland Timbers FC 2 this Wednesday, Sept. 16 at StubHub Center's Track & Field Stadium at 7:30 p.m. PT in the final home match of the 2015 USL regular season before an away match against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC on Saturday, Sept. 19.

The Galaxy are 12-11-7 all-time against Real Salt Lake in the MLS Regular Season, scoring 43 goals in the 30 matches played head to head. The match marks the third MLS game between the two sides this year and the fourth meeting in all competitions. The Galaxy have gone 1-0-1 in the previous two MLS matches, earning a 0-0 draw on the road on May 6 before defeating RSL, 1-0 at StubHub Center on May 25. The Galaxy fell to RSL, 1-0 in a U.S. Open Cup competition on July 14 at Rio Tinto Stadium.

LA continues to lead Major League Soccer in scoring this year with 49 on the season. Following a 0-0 draw against Montreal Impact at StubHub Center on Saturday, the Galaxy are now 4-1-1 in their last six MLS competitions and 6-1-1 in their last eight matches in all competitions.
