
LA Galaxy Terminate Loan Agreement with Brazilian Striker Samuel

CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, July 10, 2014) - The LA Galaxy announced Thursday that the club terminated their loan agreement with Brazilian forward Samuel, who will be returning to Fluminense of Brazil's Serie A.
The 23-year-old joined the Galaxy in January after spending the previous two seasons with Fluminense.
In eight MLS regular season appearances for the Galaxy, Samuel started four matches for the club. Samuel also appeared in two CONCACAF Champions League games for the Galaxy, tallying the game-winner in the 11th minute that sealed LA's 1-0 victory in the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Club Tijuana on March 12.
The LA Galaxy return to action on Saturday, July 12 when they host Real Salt Lake at StubHub Center at 7:30 p.m. PT live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes.
