- The LA Galaxy (12-9-1, 37 points) fell to the Portland Timbers Saturday evening on the road at Providence Park.

- The LA Galaxy are now 9-7-6 all-time vs. the Portland Timbers.

- This year on the road, the Galaxy are 4-5-1.

- On the road, LA have tallied 10 goals while conceding 15 goals.

- The Galaxy are 10-1-0 this season when scoring the game's opening goal, and 2-8-0 when conceding first.

- The LA Galaxy's lineup remained unchanged from their previous MLS contest, a 3-2 win over LAFC last Friday at Dignity Health Sports Park.

- In their next match, the LA Galaxy will travel for a road match next Saturday, Aug. 3 against Atlanta United.

- The LA Galaxy will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic (yellow card accumulation), Efrain Alvarez (red card) and Diego Polenta (red card) vs. Atlanta United.

- The Galaxy will then play again on the road with a contest vs. D.C. United, wrapping up three-consecutive road matches for the club.
