
LA Galaxy II Sign Midfielder Miguel Avalos

LOS ANGELES - LA Galaxy II announced today that the club has signed midfielder Miguel Avalos. The 16-year-old California native originally signed with Liga MX side Pachuca in 2018 and joins Los Dos with experience on Mexico's U-15 team.
"Miguel is a young and talented midfielder who we think will be a valuable addition to LA Galaxy II," said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese. "We are excited for Miguel to join our roster and look forward to his future within our organization."
Born in Santa Rosa, California, Avalos signed with Liga MX club C.F. Pachuca in 2018. Avalos also has represented the Mexico U-15 team, earning 16 appearances and scoring one goal.
Before joining C.F. Pachuca, Avalos began his youth career playing with Santa Rosa's United U-12, U-13 and U-14 squads between 2016 and 2018.
LA Galaxy II will host their home opener for the 2021 USL Championship season against Sacramento Republic FC on Friday, April 30 at Dignity Health Sports Park. The 2021 season will mark the eighth year in LA Galaxy II history.
Further announcements on scheduling, divisional alignment and playoff structure will be made in the coming weeks. The league will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the event that alterations to the format need to be made.
