LA Galaxy II Bradford Jamieson IV and Chandler Hoffman Named to USL PRO Team Of The Week

CARSON, Calif. (Tuesday, May 27, 2014) - LA Galaxy II midfielder Bradford Jamieson IV and forward Chandler Hoffman were named to the USL PRO Team of the Week for Week 10 of the 2014 USL PRO season.

Hoffman bagged a pair of goals as the Galaxy II claimed a 5-0 victory against OKC Energy FC on Sunday night at StubHub Center. He was joined on the Team of the Week by Los Dos Homegrown Player Bradford Jamieson IV, who also had a pair of goals against Energy FC, his first as a professional.

Additionally, Galaxy II midfielder Andre Auras and forward Jack McBean were named as honorable mentions after their strong performance in Sunday's action.

Hoffman opened the scoring in the 13th minute as a pinpoint cross from Oscar Sorto found Hoffman in acres of space. The forward was then able to calmly nod it past Energy FC goalkeeper Jon Kempin to put Los Dos ahead.

In the 22nd minute, referee Tyler Ploeger pointed to the penalty spot as Energy FC's Kyle Miller brought down Jamieson IV in the penalty area with a heavy challenge. Amid the protests from the visitors, Hoffman stepped up to the spot and calmly buried the ball into the bottom left corner for his seventh goal of the season.

In the 51st minute, Jamieson IV launched a thunderbolt into the back of the net, after slicing through three defenders, increasing the lead to 3-0. The goal was the Galaxy Homegrown Player's first goal in USL PRO.Jamieson IV again showed a glimpse of his magic as he curled the ball into net from the edge of the box in the 55th minute, giving Los Dos a 4-0 lead. In the 69th minute, Galaxy II completed the scoring as McBean found himself alone in space after impressive buildup play and slotted home his first goal of the year.

LA Galaxy II return to action on Wednesday, May 28th at 7:30 p.m. PT when they take on PSA Elite at the StubHub Center Track and Field Stadium in the third round of the U.S. Open Cup.
