LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy return home to Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, August 1 for their second meeting of the season against FC Dallas at 7:30 p.m. PT on Apple TV. Following the MLS contest, the LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified Team will take on the FC Dallas Special Olympics Unified Team in their final match at home this season. The evening also marks Future Soccer Stars Night, shining a spotlight on young athletes and encouraging the next generation of soccer players to pursue their dreams.

LA Galaxy vs FC Dallas

The Galaxy and FC Dallas played to a 2-2 draw earlier this season on April 18, 2026, in Frisco, Texas, as LA overcame a two-goal deficit behind goals from Joseph Paintsil and Lucas Sanabria. The Galaxy hold a slight edge in the all-time regular-season series, posting a 37-35-14 record in 86 meetings and outscoring Dallas 143-131. At home, LA has been particularly strong, compiling a 28-9-6 record against FC Dallas. The home team won both meetings during the 2025 campaign by 2-1 scorelines. The team will face FC Dallas in its final home match of the season, with kickoff scheduled immediately following the conclusion of the MLS game. The match reflects the Galaxy's longstanding partnership with Special Olympics and its dedication to fostering inclusion through Unified Sports. The match will be streamed live on lagalaxy.com/stream, with the voice of the LA Galaxy, Joe Tutino, on the call.

Since MLS action resumed following the World Cup break, the LA Galaxy have faced a challenging stretch, falling to LAFC and St. Louis CITY SC before earning a valuable point in a 1-1 draw against the San Jose Earthquakes in the California Clasico at Stanford Stadium. Joseph Paintsil found the back of the net for LA, while goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski delivered a match-saving performance, highlighted by a stoppage-time penalty save that preserved the result and earned him MLS Team of the Matchday honors.
