LA Galaxy Announce Leagues Cup 2023 Roster

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy today announced their roster for the inaugural Leagues Cup 2023. In a new milestone in the history of North American soccer, Leagues Cup is a World-Cup style competition in which all 47 MLS and LIGA MX clubs have now paused their respective league seasons following this last weekend's play, as attention turns to the start of the official Concacaf competition this Friday, July 21.

The LA Galaxy, competing in Group 3 of the West Region, will play host to LIGA MX's Club León, who won the 2023 Concacaf Champions League, at Dignity Health Sports Park on Tuesday, July 25 (7:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, FS1, LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio). Four days later, the Galaxy close out group play by hosting Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, July 29 (7:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, LA Galaxy Radio, LA Galaxy Spanish Radio).

The accreditation application is now open to media for Leagues Cup 2023 from July 21 - Aug. 19, including the Galaxy's home matches against Club León on Tuesday, July 25 and versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, July 29. Media wishing to attend a match should apply by 2:00 p.m. PT, seven days prior to the group stage match and two days prior to each knockout round match.

The Leagues Cup Final will be played on Aug. 19. The Leagues Cup 2023 champion and the second and third-place finishers will qualify for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup.

Fans in over 100 countries and regions will be able to watch all 77 Leagues Cup matches on MLS Season Pass on the Apple TV app, the subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer that is available on smart TVs, streaming devices, Apple devices, set-top boxes, game consoles, and the web at ‚ tv.apple.com. Additionally, TelevisaUnivision, FOX Sports, TSN and RDS will be the linear broadcast home for 15 group stage matches in the United States and Canada.
