
L.A. Lakers Re-Assign Robert Sacre to NBA D-League Affiliate L.A. D-Fenders

NEW YORK, Jan. 5, 2013 - The Los Angeles Lakers today re-assigned rookie center Robert Sacre to the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the Lakers' NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment is the third for Sacre and the record 96th of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons.
Sacre (7-0, 260, Gonzaga) has appeared in 13 games for the Lakers this season, scoring seven points and grabbing 10 rebounds in 55 minutes. Selected in the second round (60th overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft, Sacre finished his career as a Bulldog averaging 9.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 21.8 minutes in 135 NCAA games. For his efforts, he was named All-WCC Defensive Player of the Year in 2012.
Sacre is expected to join the D-Fenders today and be available tonight when the team hosts the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
