L.A. Avengers to host Chicago Rush in divisional round of AFL Playoffs

The Los Angeles Avengers, who finished the 2005 Arena Football League regular season as the Western Division champion and No. 2 seed in the American Conference, will host the Chicago Rush (No. 3 seed) in the divisional round of the AFL Playoffs at STAPLES Center on Sunday, May 29.
The game will mark L.A.'s fourth consecutive trip to the postseason and the third time that the Avengers have earned the right to host. The contest will kickoff at 12:30 p.m. and be televised on KNBC Channel 4.
Tickets for Sunday's playoff game are on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets, the STAPLES Center box office and over the telephone at 1-888-AVENGERS.
The Avengers (10-6) and Rush (9-7) met earlier this year at STAPLES Center. Los Angeles won that contest, 52-49, on April 23.
