Kuk Named Media Relations Assistant

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- The Indianapolis Indians have appointed Garrett Kuk, Media Relations Assistant, Indians Public Relations Director Mike Wolinsky announced today. A recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Kuk will serve a nine-month internship, focusing on all aspects of media relations including website maintenance, gameday operations, broadcast promotion and feature writing.

"We are delighted to have Garrett join our staff," Wolinsky said. "His experience in sports information and website design and development, will be a nice addition to our media relations efforts."

The 22-year-old Kuk graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in English and Computer Applications. His experience includes work as a student assistant in the Notre Dame Sports Information Department as well as various web design projects. He is a native of Mission Viejo, Cal., and graduated from Santa Margarita High School in 1999, the same prep school that produced Heisman award winner Carson Palmer.
