KSTC-TV, Channel 45 to Televise Minnesota Swarm Game Live on January 24

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm announced today that KSTC-TV, Channel 45 will telecast the team's home game against the 2008 NLL champion Buffalo Bandits LIVE on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 7:00 p.m. from Xcel Energy Center.

Matt Thomas, host of the Matt Thomas Show on am1500 KSTP Radio will serve as the play-by-play announcer and Swarm Internet broadcaster Marcus Dee will provide color commentary. The game will be produced by Pat O'Connor and Minnesota Swarm productions.

Minnesota is 2-0 this year and has advanced to the NLL playoffs each of the last three seasons. The Swarm set franchise records with 10 wins and an average attendance of 11,405 fans per game in 2008. Minnesota has increased its win total all four seasons in the NLL and owns a franchise mark of 34-32.

KSTC-TV, Channel 45 is the Twin Cities only independent television station.
