Ken Montour Named NLL Defensive Player of the Week

BUFFALO, NY (January 14, 2009) --- The National Lacrosse League announced today that Buffalo Bandits goaltender Ken Montour has been named the Defensive Player of the Week.

Montour made 38 saves on 44 shots to earn his first victory of the season as the Bandits beat the Toronto Rock 8-6 last Saturday to improve to 2-0 on the year. Montour currently leads the league with a 6.00 GAA and a .864 save percentage. In 2008 Montour posted a 4-5 record with a 10.23 GAA and a .808 save percentage.

Buffalo's next game is Friday against the Rochester Knighthawks at HSBC Arena. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Season tickets in all price levels are still available for the 2009 season.
