
Kryptonite IceHogs dancer to compete for Miss Teen Illinois

Rockford, Ill.- One of the exciting new features at Rockford IceHogs home games this season is the Kryptonite IceHogs Dance Team. One of the team members, Ashlee Heid, will compete for the title of Miss Teen Illinois America this weekend in Effingham, Illinois.
Heid is one of 14 dancers on the Kryptonite IceHogs Dance Team, which performs at IceHogs games, helps with in game promotions and also make appearances with the team in the community throughout the season.
The 18-year old Lena-Winslow High School senior, has received numerous accolades in modeling. Heid was named 2004 Dream Girls USA National Royalty Supreme Queen, 2003 Dream Girls USA National Miss Queen and 2003 Dream Girls USA State High Point Queen.
To go along with her modeling, Heid is an accomplished dancer and was selected to attend the World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood last August. After a successful competition, Heid was asked back to perform in next year's edition in August of 2005.
Other honors received by Heid include being chosen as the Supermodel of the Year in 2003 by Supermodels Unlimited Magazine and she is a finalist for the annual cover contest. Heid resides in McConnell, Illinois and is also a part-time student at Highland Community College.
