Charlotte, NC. Duane "Spyder" Hughes, owner of the ABA Charlotte Krunk professional basketball team, announced today that he has reached a lease agreement for the 2005-2006 season with the fabulous Cricket Arena in Charlotte. "The Cricket Arena will be one of the premiere facilities in the ABA and will not only host our ABA games but a whole series of after game concerts too. We are very proud to be at the Cricket Arena and know our fans will enjoy the games and concerts as the facility is wonderful and the management is very fan friendly. This works," said Hughes. Season, group and individual game tickets and packages will be available shortly on the Krunk's website.

In addition, Hughes announced that Derrick Pearson, the host of the ABA Live on Radio talk show would be the Charlotte Krunk announcer for the 2005-2006 season and that the station and other details would be announced soon.
