Toledo Royal Knights News Release

Toledo, OH. The Toledo Ice held its first free agent tryout camp on July 6th. The day was a complete success. Thirty very talented players attended the camp. There were players from Virginia, Houston, Michigan as well as the Toledo area. The guys were put through a pretty intense workout by team trainers. "We walked away with a good look at some talented guys and they were able to get a small glimpse of what some of our practice sessions will be like," said team co-owner Nate Hopkins.

The Ice were also featured on the "Sports Rap," a sports talk show on BCSN. The show went very well and has already aired a couple of times with great response. BCSN will broadcast all 18 Toledo Ice home games starting in November.

The next free agent camp will be held on Saturday, Aust 13th at Owens Community College at 9am. For more information, email Mike Perdue at mperdue@toledoicebasketball.com or visit www.toledoicebasketball.com or www.abalive.com.
