
Royal Knights owner receives Martin Luther King, Jr. award

Toledo, OH. Ben Williams, co-owner of the ABA Toledo Royal Knights, was nominated and selected to receive the Educational Excellence Award from the Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Commission because of his outstanding personal commitment to Dr. King's Six Principles of Non-Violence. The nomination was submited by King Commissioner Mildred Clark.
The award was presented to Mr. Williams by Governor-elect Ted Strickland and the Commission on Thursday, January 11th at Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Williams is the Executive Program Director for Youth Services Incorporated, a Todeo-based youth organization that provides high quality services for youth.
