April 17, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Kansas City Knights News Release

The KNIGHTS are preparing to announce a series of camps and programming for the spring, summer and fall. Under the direction of Head Coach and General Manager Bob Sunvold, the KNIGHTS will conduct camps and clinics throughout the Kansas City area.

"Bob Sunvold and our coaching staff headed out today for scouting and coaches meetings at the Final Four ", said Jim Clark owner of the KNIGHTS. "We are closing out with all players, office location, and partners over the next 30 days and will be attending the ABA League meeting in mid-April in Indianapolis."

From an arena perspective, the Overland Park Arena remains the long-term home of the KNIGHTS and next year fans will see the KNIGHTS return to Johnson County Community College.

"We have been working with the feasibility team on the new arena and assisting them and the City as they complete their detailed feasibility study on the entire Entertainment District."

Clark concluded by stating, "We want to thank our fans for their support and we look forward to a great 2005/2006 season."

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
